Hot Ride now has high performance ECU tuning available for Polaris RZR. The only way, to alter ignition timing and rev limiters is to replace the factory ECU or reprogram it. Our standard tune up includes advanced timing and correcting the fuel ratio and adjusting the timing for better acceleration and increasing the rev limiter to 7000 rpm (stock RZR 6500). We optimized the fuel curve to give you an efficient 13.2:1 Air Fuel Ratio, we found the factory programming to be a bit lean, limiting the full power of your RZR. We also optimized the timing for better acceleration, midrange and top end horsepower. The results on the RZR are simply amazing (See Dyno Results Below). There is no doubt in your mind that new did our homework the minute you plug in your new box and feel the results the first time you drive your RZR with our ECU. You will experience better acceleration, faster hill climbs and a higher top speed. At 5000 feet of altitude the RZR could barely hit the rev limiter (a common problem for the RZR at lower altitudes). With the reprogramming, we added up to 12.07 horsepower (a 50.84% horsepower gain over stock), 4 to 5 MPH and a 3 car length hole shot of the stock RZR. Climbing competition hill at Dumont the 4 RZR's that went with Hot Ride's ECU's, out climbed all but the 2 Turbo Charged RZR's we found there, with greater acceleration and power holding during sand hill climbing.
Hot Ride will also offers the Power Commander III USB Fuel Tuning Module which we typically use to fuel the RZR correctly, due to EPA regulation on Polaris. This TFI will also work in a boosted application such as Turbo Charging or Supercharging. Piggy-back controllers offer easy user fine tuning and make a lot of sense to customize your fuel curve.

68 - 73 deg in the sun the air fuel mix on all these runs look good about 14% too16% (we use a gas analyzer too determine this).
RZR Supercharger Specifications
Lubrication is accomplished with a highly special high grade type of traction fluid. The unit utilizes positive pressure created by boost as well as an internal pump to circulate the fluid. This is a closed loop system. Includes Billet reservoir with temp sensor, filter and oil cooler. Only use supplied Rotrex Traction Fluid.
Belt Drive System - Connected directly to the crank and transmitted to the blower via a cog belt drive system.
A stub shaft is connected to the end of the crankshaft on the magneto side of the motor. Strength is a null issue. The stub shaft is stronger and more durable than the crankshaft itself. Internal crank end sizing and bearing will support 8 times the horsepower that is actually used to drive the blower.
The OEM side cover is modified to allow the New PTO Shaft to Exit. You can purchase a new modified cover for about $100 or have yours modified for free.
A cog belt design was chosen due to long life, no chance of slippage due to tension or snow and minimal tension requirements. Belt construction is the same design used in snowmobile belt drives. Although only 20mm wide, our belt sports a safety factor 3-1/2 times higher than the industry accepted belt drive, since we are transmitting less than 10HP and belt drives transmit over 100HP.
The systems plumbing, although simple, is 1st class. All components are aluminum with stainless clamps.
The Charge Air Tube (or CAC tube) is mandrel bent aluminum and less than 24" long. All connections are made with silicone hose and stainless steel Tee Clamps.
The Inter cooler & Air box are design and constructed entirely of aluminum and utilizes a bar and plate inter cooler core capable of supplying motors over 180HP. Pressure drop across the core is less than 1/4lb. Air intake temperatures are typically between 30 to 50 degrees above the ambient air temperature.
Connection to the throttle body is an optimized design employing silicone hose & stainless constant tension clamps. This design can sustain boost numbers in excess of 25 psi.
The RZR employs an Automotive EFI style Fuel system.
Power to the pump is electronically controlled through the OEM computer.
All electrical connections are made by plugging into or bolting onto the OEM wiring system. No splices are used and no wires are cut!
The Fuel system is converted to a return style system with a 1 to 1 rising rate regulator.
The entire fuel system uses Extra Heavy Duty 300 PSI fuel line. This line maintains extreme flexibility under the harshest temperature changes and is impervious to any fuel or fuel additives. All connections are made with constant tension stainless hose clamps.
The Kit Includes a New 100% Stainless Exhaust System.
High Performance RZR Exhaust System saves weight but increases dB levels.
The OEM system is unmodified!
The blower's oiling system is self-contained.
It employs an external filter, reservoir and oil cooler. This allows the owner to easily check the oil level. Oil changes are recommended once a year or every 50,000 miles (which ever comes 1st).
The blower system includes an 1/8" NPT port to monitor oil temperature. We recommended adding an oil temperature gauge for extreme applications or applications in hot climates.

Components are made of billet aluminum and connect 100% into existing bolt holes.
The A-Arm Bracket is modified on the Right Rear Side to provide clearance for the Supercharger Drive. The modification is quite simple and in no way sacrifices strength.
Due to an Inconsistency in Polaris Engine Manufacturing, we are recommending that all units running on pump gas check the piston ring end gap. Most units are OK, but we have seen several units with less than 0.010" of end gap. We recommend opening this gap to 0.020 to 0.024"
Base line boost recommended is 6psi. The system is capable of 14+ psi, but requires motor modifications.
This unit carries a 1 year warranty for off road application.
Power Commander III USB
The Dynojet Power Commander plugs inline with your bike’s stock fuel injection system. It uses OEM (original equipment manufacturer) style connectors making installation easy and quick. The Power Commander III USB allows a full range of fuel adjustment, as much as +/- 100% over stock. Adjustments can be made either with a Windows based computer or by using the face plate mounted button adjusters. No permanent changes are made to the bike’s system. Once the unit is removed the bike reverts to its stock settings.
What Power Commander III USB Offers
Hassle free USB communication - The Power Commander USB will instantly and automatically connect to the Power Commander Control Center software once it is installed. Simply "power up" the unit and connect the supplied USB cable to the computer and PCIII USB. Onboard notes storage - The PCIII USB stores the notes from the map in the onboard memory. This makes it easy to see exactly which map is loaded. The notes, just as the map itself, are automatically retrieved upon connecting to the unit. Individual cylinder adjustment - All PCIII USB units have a "cylinder trim" adjustment feature that allows you to "offset" fuel to one or more cylinders. Additionally, for advanced users, the PCIII USB allows individual cylinder mapping. Now each cylinder can be mapped individually throughout the entire rpm/throttle position range. Enhanced "file compare" utility - The PCIII USB software allows you to compare two map files without the Power Commander connected. There is a numerical display as well as a brand new graphical display. Easier to use "button adjustment" mode - The button adjustment has been made easier by introducing a "startup delay". This lets the user have enough time to start the bike and then switch the PCIII USB into "button adjust" mode. The ranges of the buttons are now displayed in the software. Simply connect the unit to the computer and press one of the buttons. Their ranges are shown on the screen. "Expansion port" for upgrades and accessories - The "expansion port" allows easy connection of accessories such as our new ignition module, Quick shifter, Multifunction Hub, Pressure Sensor display and LCD display unit. Automatic map retrieval upon connection - As soon as you connect the PCIII USB to the computer and launch the software, the map installed in the PCIII USB will be displayed. 9V "Power Up" adapter - Every PCIII USB comes with a "power up" adapter which allows users to program and interface with the Power Commander on their desktop without being connected to the bike. Accelerator Pump - You can adjust: A) The amount of fuel to add, B) The number of engine revolutions during which fuel is added, C) The sensitivity of throttle movement under which the accelerator pump is activated.
Power Commander Ignition Module
The Ignition Module is connected to the PCIII USB with it’s built in expansion port link and communicates via a CAN interface. As in the case of the Power Commander, the Ignition Module uses OEM style connectors to plug in-line of the stock ignition harness so no cutting or splicing is required. The Ignition Module uses “direct coil driver technology” and allows a high degree of timing adjustment. In the Power commander Control Center Software the user is able to advance or retard the ignition curve up to 10 degrees based on throttle position and RPM. It is also possible to alter the timing for each cylinder individually if necessary.

The graph on the left represents timing adjustments with Ignition Module. The graph on right represents increased Rev Limit for certain bike models. The Ignition Module comes standard with no adjustments made in the map for the timing table. Due to different states of tune, fuel quality, and engine modifications we found it is best to leave the ignition timing stock for safety reasons. To have your ignition curve fine tuned Dynojet recommends bringing your bike to one of our Authorized Power Commander Tuning Centers. These centers have the necessary dynamometer equipment to extract the most performance out of the Ignition Module. On motorcycles that have eight injectors and were not previously able to benefit from the use of the Dynojet Quick Shifter, the Ignition Module now allows this functionality. Rev Xtend feature is available for the RZR and the RZR-S when using the Ignition Module.
Multi-Function Hub for Power Commander
NOTE: Your Power Commander's firmware may need to be updated to use this device. The Multi-Function Hub allows users to access advanced expansion features. Several optional harnesses are available to permit both input and output to/from the module.
Map Selection Switch
Connecting the optional Map Selection Switch allows the rider to switch between two different maps within the Power Commander. For Touring Bikes this could be used to switch between a "fuel economy map" for long rides and a "full performance map". For Sport Bikes it could be used for applications such as "Dry Nitrous Oxide" kits to permit the user to make the fuel mixture richer when activating the system. Additionally, if the Power Commander has an Ignition Module connected it can switch to a less aggressive timing map at the same time.
Fuel and ignition timing (when using the Dynojet Ignition Module) adjustments can be made based on gear position (Low, High, Reverse or speed. The multi-function hub makes it possible for the user to advance the timing in lower and reverse gears while retarding it in higher gears.
When using a Power Commander on super charged or turbo charged applications the Boost Input option makes it possible to have the fuel automatically increase with boost level. When an adjustable boost controller is used, this capability eliminates the need for re mapping each time the boost level is changed.
Based on the data from the Power Commander and the inputs from the Multi-Function Hub, a solenoid, relay, warning light, etc. can be triggered. This can be used to activate items such as the Nitrous Oxide system, or water injection.

The ZEX™ Side-X-Side Nitrous System is an easy-to-install package that offers everything you need to add 10 to 20 horsepower to any stock or highly modified Side-X-Side. The kit includes the bottle, solenoids, injection nozzle and high pressure hoses, as well as an auxiliary fuel pump that ensures plenty of fuel flow for generating safe and efficient power. Unlike other system, this high-tech nitrous system includes a 10lb. bottle that lets you go all day without running out of nitrous.
